comments Type locality, Sunday Island (holotype of Spondylus raoulensis, 6.3 cm dorso-ventral and 5.4 cm anterior-posterior ShD, 3 cm hinge base, and 2.7 cm ShH) (Ref. 88739). Known from Meyer and West Chanter (Ref. 88938) and Sunday Islands (Ref. 88739). Found from depths of 5 to 40 m on reefs, generally under overhangs (Ref. 337).
